BDIA Dental Showcase wins best advertising campaign for the 6th consecutive year

The British Dental Industry Association (BDIA) is delighted to announce that the BDIA Dental Showcase 2014 campaign ‘Putting Innovation into Practice’ has been voted the best advertising campaign in the Readex Research Message Impact® Study. This marks the 6th consecutive year the BDIA has won an award for its Dental Showcase campaign.

Through an online survey, readers of BDA News were asked to select the best advertising campaigns within three different categories: highest attention-getting ability, highest believability and highest information value. The results revealed that the ‘Putting Innovation into Practice’ campaign was awarded winner for ‘attention-getting’ and ‘believability’ and joint winner for ‘highest information value’. The results also show that 43% of readers took action of some sort after seeing the advert – a higher percentage than for any other campaign.

Tony Reed, Executive Director at the BDIA, comments, “It’s fantastic that the efficacy of the BDIA Dental Showcase campaign has been recognised again, for the 6th year running. 2014 has been an excellent year for Dental Showcase. Some 12,000 members of the dental profession and industry attended this year’s event – something which pays further testimony to the overall success of the exhibition. We would like to thank everyone who took part in the survey and attended the show.”
