28 nationalities at the VOCO International Fellowship Symposium

From new materials, devices and techniques to the increasing demands of our patients –the world of dentistry never stands still and is constantly evolving. Around 60 renowned dentists from all over the world came together at the 6th VOCO International Fellowship Symposium to discuss the wide variety of possibilities and opportunities. The event with the largest number of participants to date was also attended by a delegation from the USA for the first time. In addition, alongside guests from Europe and Asia, numerous guests from Latin and South America accepted the invitation to Cuxhaven to find out more about the latest trends and exchange ideas with colleagues.

“We are very proud and thankful to be able to welcome so many renowned experts,” said event organiser Dr. Matthias Mehring. “Bringing together so many top dentists from all over the world is not to be taken for granted and offers enormous advantages for both research and practice.” 

The three-day event revolved around 25 specialist presentations given by the fellows, which offered a varied mix of scientific talks and clinical case documentations. These included, for example, an in-depth examination of the different possibilities available in the scope of direct restorations and the comprehensive presentation and discussion of state-of-the-art techniques such as injection moulding and the stamp technique.
